MIRSHuS Journal Cover

Moestopo International Review on Social, Humanities, and Sciences (MIRSHuS) is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access scholarly journal published by Universitas Prof. Dr. Moestopo (Beragama), Indonesia.

MIRSHuS provides an academic platform for researchers, academics, lecturers, postgraduate students, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate original and high-quality scholarly research in the fields of social sciences, humanities, and applied sciences. The journal particularly encourages interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies that address contemporary academic and societal issues and contribute to theoretical development, practical application, public policy, and sustainable development.

MIRSHuS publishes original research articles and other scholarly manuscripts that have undergone editorial assessment and peer review. All research articles are evaluated through a double-anonymous peer-review process involving at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise before an editorial decision is made.

The journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity and responsible scholarly publishing practices. Editorial decisions are based on the academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and contribution of the manuscript and are made independently of the authors' institutional affiliation, nationality, or other personal characteristics.

Open Access

MIRSHuS is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely and permanently accessible immediately upon publication without subscription, registration, or embargo.

All articles published in MIRSHuS are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Publication Frequency

MIRSHuS is published twice a year, in April and October.

The journal is committed to maintaining a consistent publication schedule. Additional or special issues, when published, are subject to the same editorial standards and peer-review requirements as regular issues.

Focus and Scope

MIRSHuS covers scholarly research in three major areas:

  • Social Sciences, including communication and media studies, public relations, sociology, political science, public administration and public policy, management and business, economics, accounting, law, education, tourism, and community development;
  • Humanities, including cultural studies, history, language and linguistics, literature, philosophy, ethics, religious and intercultural studies, local wisdom, identity, and cultural heritage; and
  • Sciences and Applied Sciences, particularly studies related to information technology, digital transformation, data science, artificial intelligence, health sciences, environmental studies, sustainability, science education, and applied science with clear relevance to human and societal development.

The journal especially welcomes interdisciplinary studies connecting social, humanistic, scientific, technological, environmental, health, and policy perspectives.
