Moestopo International Review on Social, Humanities, and Sciences (MIRSHuS) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 2,000,000 for each article accepted for publication.

The APC applies to articles published starting from Volume 6 No. 1, April 2026.

The APC is charged only after the manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and has been formally accepted for publication.

Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance of a manuscript and does not influence editorial assessment, peer review, or publication decisions. Editorial decisions are based solely on the scholarly quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and ethical compliance of the manuscript.

No Submission Fee

MIRSHuS does not charge any submission fee. Authors are not required to make any payment when submitting a manuscript to the journal.

No Additional Publication Charges

Apart from the Article Processing Charge stated above, MIRSHuS does not charge authors for:

• manuscript submission;
• editorial processing;
• peer review;
• page charges;
• colour figures or illustrations;
• DOI registration;
• standard copyediting and layout; or
• online publication.

No additional mandatory fee will be imposed beyond the APC stated on this page.

Article Withdrawal

MIRSHuS does not charge authors a fee for withdrawing a manuscript before formal acceptance, provided that the withdrawal request follows the journal's editorial procedure.

Authors are expected to avoid unnecessary withdrawal after the manuscript has entered an advanced stage of editorial processing. Any request for withdrawal must be submitted formally to the editorial office with a clear reason.

APC and Editorial Independence

The payment or non-payment of an APC does not influence:

• reviewer selection;
• peer-review recommendations;
• editorial decisions;
• acceptance or rejection of a manuscript; or
• the academic evaluation of submitted work.

Editors and reviewers are not involved in financial decisions concerning individual authors during the peer-review process.

Open Access

Payment of the APC supports the journal's open-access publishing activities. All articles published in MIRSHuS are made freely and permanently available immediately upon publication in accordance with the journal's Open Access Policy.
