Open Access Policy
Moestopo International Review on Social, Humanities, and Sciences (MIRSHuS) is a fully open-access journal committed to the free and unrestricted dissemination of scholarly knowledge.
All articles published in MIRSHuS are made freely, immediately, and permanently available online upon publication. Readers are not required to pay subscription or access fees, create an account, or register with the journal to read or download published articles.
MIRSHuS does not apply any embargo period to its published scholarly content.
Open Access to Published Content
Users are permitted to access, download, reproduce, share, distribute, print, search, link to, and otherwise lawfully reuse published articles in accordance with the Creative Commons license applied to the content.
Published articles may also be processed for legitimate scholarly purposes, including indexing, text and data analysis, and other research-related computational uses, subject to the terms of the applicable license.
The journal supports the principle that unrestricted access to scholarly research promotes wider dissemination, greater visibility, academic collaboration, and the advancement of knowledge.
Licensing
Articles published in MIRSHuS are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
Under this license, users may:
- copy and redistribute the published material in any medium or format;
- adapt, transform, or build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes;
provided that users:
- give appropriate credit to the original author(s);
- provide appropriate acknowledgement of the original source and publication;

No additional legal or technological restrictions may be imposed that would prevent users from exercising the rights granted under the applicable Creative Commons license.
Detailed information regarding ownership of copyright and authors' publication rights is provided separately in the journal's Copyright Policy and Licensing Policy.
Immediate Access and No Embargo
MIRSHuS provides immediate open access to all published scholarly articles.
There is:
- no embargo period before an article becomes openly accessible;
- no subscription requirement to access published articles;
- no registration requirement to read or download full-text articles; and
- no paywall restricting access to published scholarly content.
The full text of each published article is available through the journal website immediately upon publication.
Permanent Open Availability
MIRSHuS is committed to ensuring that published scholarly content remains openly accessible after publication.
An article that has been published as open access will not subsequently be converted into subscription-only or paywalled content.
The journal also supports long-term access to scholarly content through its digital preservation and archiving arrangements as described in the journal's Digital Archiving and Preservation Policy.
Third-Party Material
Where an article contains material owned by a third party that is not covered by the article's Creative Commons license, such material must be clearly identified.
Authors are responsible for obtaining any permissions required for the inclusion and publication of third-party copyrighted materials.
The copyright status, applicable license, permission, or other relevant rights information should be clearly stated for material that is excluded from the article's open license.
Author Access
Authors have unrestricted access to their published articles and may share links to the published Version of Record through personal websites, institutional profiles, scholarly communication platforms, and other appropriate academic channels.
The journal's policy regarding the deposit of preprints, accepted manuscripts, and published Versions of Record in institutional or subject repositories is described separately in the Repository and Self-Archiving Policy.
Open Access Commitment
MIRSHuS is committed to supporting an open scholarly communication environment in which research can be accessed and reused responsibly by researchers, students, practitioners, policymakers, institutions, and the wider public.
Open access to MIRSHuS articles is independent of the payment of any Article Processing Charge (APC). Payment of an APC, where applicable, does not determine whether an article is accepted for publication and does not affect editorial or peer-review decisions.
